Banker of Koraput Central Cooperative Bank, Malkangiri arrested by Odisha Vigilance for embezzling over Rs. 1.08 crores of government funds*. Malkangiri (04/05) Pratik Samachar -Today, Sudhansu Khara, Manager of Koraput Central Cooperative Bank, has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance for embezzling Rs. 1,08,75,000 of government funds related to the recovery of crop loans deposited by the borrower farmers under 5 lamps in Malkangiri district. In this regard, Odisha Vigilance has registered two cases vide Koraput Vigilance PS Case No. 4 and 5 dated 04.05.2026. Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(a) PC Amendment Act, 2018/316(5)/344 BNS, 2024 and will be sent to Srikhora Court.
